Day 1-20 Work on page layout
Day 20 (6pm) Submit completed layout
to Scrapbook Island
Day 21-29 Customer judging
Day 30 or 31 Winner announced
Day 1 Non-winning layout available
for pick-up; New contest starts.

Rules:

  1. Register early! Contest Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The same kit will be provided to all participants. Only one contest kit per person may be purchased. Cost is $7.00 Reserve yours in advance and a kit will be set aside for you each month.
     

  2. The size of the layout may be 8.5x11 or 12x12. Only one page layout may be submitted for the contest. For strap-hinged albums, you must use one of the papers provided in the kit as a background. You may adhere the to your album strap-hinged page, but album strap hinged page may NOT be used as the background.
     

  3. You may NOT use any other products on the layout that was not provided in the kit.  This includes journaling box(es). You will need to provide your own adhesives, pop dots, pens/markers, chalk, trimmers, page protector, paper punch, etc. Computers may be used for journaling but only the paper(s) provided in the kit may be used.   4. At least one piece of each item provided in the kit must be used on your page layout.
     

  5. Photos should not be used at this time, please use a "place photo here" mat instead.
     

  6. The contest kit is open to everyone, even Scrapbook Island employees. Contest kits may be purchased but there is no obligation to enter the contest. If purchasing a kit for others, please make sure the kit registered under their own name.
     

  7. The rules and dates are subject to change per Scrapbook Island.

** Note: That these rules are an example. Actual contest rules are provided in each kit and are subject to change depending on what must be provided for each layout.

PRIZE:
The prize will be determined by the number of people who will participate. $2.00 will be taken from the cost of the kit and applied towards a gift certificate. For example, if 20 people participated, a gift certificate of $40 will be the prize. The winning layout will be displayed in the store, newsgroup, and website for up to 30 days.
